i. videographer

Filming weddings started as a way of merging two of my main hobbies film-making, and music composing, I immediately fell in love with it.

I love being able to incorporate the right moments visually, and musically to create something new and wonderful. I live for the feels and emotion that is created through these mediums.

At weddings I tend to be super quiet, I’m there to capture the day, and help it run smoothly.

ii. muso

Massive audio nerd, listen mainly to post rock, progressive metal, djent, symphonic/orchestral anything, instrumental, neo-classical, bit of indie. This is probably why the films I make have chill and post rock vibes…

Enjoy composing post rock, orchestral/cinematic, and retrowave/synthwave. Much of which is available online for purchase or streaming.

iii. geek

Having an IT background as well, I am sufficiently nerdy. I love the odd PC game with friends, science and technology news, and have fully automated our home – all the lights/fans turn on/off with a programmed raspberry pi (mini computer) – it’s next level…

iv. teacher

I also work part time as a high school media (ex-music) teacher.

In the past I’ve tried teaching full time, or wedding videography full time, but have found I am happiest with just the right amount of both 🙂
